Bengali Society of Melbourne (BSM) had its 2nd successful Blood Donation 2018 event today 06 May 2018 at the Australian Red Cross Werribee Donor Centre.

BSM would like to sincerely thank all the donors for this fantastic effort today and also to all members, friends and well wishers of BSM who was present today and also to those who couldn't be present physically but gave their support.

Last but not the least, BSM would like to thank all the team members at the Australian Red Cross Werribee Donor Centre for their invaluable support and care.

One of the BIGGEST Community Events in Western-to-Northern Melbourne
Over and above the traditional events and programs, we will also host a few contests involving kids, adults and families, with representation from

We are organising a shuttle service from Hoppers Crossing 
station to the Puja venue for friends who are using public 
transport.  We are trying to make a maxi cab available 
on Saturday in the morning and night at a nominal cost of 
AUD 2/= per person per trip. 
Please note that the availability is on a best effort and shared service basis. You can always walk to the venue as required.



'Mahanayak' UTTAM KUMAR
(3 September 1926 – 24 July 1980)
Bengali Society of Melbourne commemorates the 32nd Death Anniversary of 'Mahanayak' Uttam Kumar and salutes him for his contribution towards Bengali Film, Art and Culture



To commemorate the 32nd Death Anniversary of Uttam Kumar, who passed away on 24 July 1980, Bengali Society of Melbourne has organised a screening of one of the 5 most popular hits of Uttam Kumar, to be selected through a voting of choice by members and other enthusiastic viewers. 

PLUS Some live performances from all members...songs, dialogues, etc from any of his popular films.

Snacks and Dinner  will be served.
