Saraswati Puja is celebrated in the honour of the Goddess Saraswati, who is the goddess of knowledge, art, and learning, and has remained significant from the Vedic period through modern times. We, the Bengali speaking people, mark the day by worshipping her as we believe pleased Saraswati will make us intelligent, well-educated and enlightened.

This festival is very special to all of us. Because our younger generation is the key focus of this celebration. They do offer prayers to the Goddess Saraswati, do anchor and perform in the cultural show, and thereby sharpen and demonstrate their artistic knowledge and skills. BSM is very keen and proud to organize this event every year since 2013. In fact, the cheerful, happy, and smart faces of the kids from various parts of Victoria are what BSM is all about.
